Significant changes have taken place in A level Maths in recent years. Not only have there been changes in content, but even greater changes in the style of questions being set.
These changes present a sizeable challenge to students and teachers. Thankfully the number of specimen, practice and past papers is steadily increasing. In such challenging times the support of a Maths tutor might make make all the difference.
A LEVEL I offer tuition in:
Pure Maths
Mechanics &
Statistics
in Maths and Further Maths .
ONLINE TUITION In the light of the coronavirus pandemic I have moved from face to face tutoring and switched to online tutoring. Consequently, I now offer A-level Maths tuition, not just to students in Devon & Somerset, but to students in any part of the UK and anywhere around the world.
For online lessons, all that is needed is a tablet and stylus pen so we can work together on an online whiteboard. Until recently I have been using Zoom and Conceptboard (an online whiteboard), but I have now switched to Bramble (a dedicated tutoring platform) for most of my lessons. With Bramble, and Conceptboard, both tutor and student can write on a whiteboard and instantly see one another's writing.
